Following three years of successful operations consisting primarily of Private Pilot Licence Training which culminated in an FTO approval in February 2012, Diamond Flight Training, as it was previously known, underwent a reorganisation process which included a new look to the brand.
Diamond Aviation is now made out of two separate business units which in conjunction offer a wide range of services.
Diamond Flight School is exclusively responsible for pilot training and is the first and only flight training organisation approved by the Civil Aviation Directorate, a division of Transport Malta authorised to conduct professional pilot training. Courses conducted by Diamond Flight School include those leading to the PPL and CPL, night, multi engine and instrument rating. An agreement has also been concluded with Oxford Aviation Academy in the United Kingdom for distance learning ATPL. Other non-approved training courses offered by Diamond Flight School Limiter are an ATCO familiarisation course and English language proficiency courses, the latter offered in conjunction with Executive Training Institute.
Diamond Aviation is responsible for commercial operations, which include aircraft hire, consultancy, provision of training and operation manuals and executive aircraft brokerage, with expansion plans in the pipeline which include air taxi service and aerial work.
The company's rebranding was entrusted to Defined Branding who developed a simple yet effective brand image which reflects the two independent yet converging business units. This fresh look is accompanied by a fresh attitude towards professional pilot training in Malta, Diamond Aviation being steadfast to remain at the helm of competition.
