October 8, 2012
CEPA, the organisation striving to grow private aviation business development between east and west Europe, which recently announced the date of its Expo in November, has confirmed the theme and panels that will be driving this year's event.
The CEPA Expo, to be held in Prague on 28-30th of November, will focus on 'acceleration' and ways of speeding up the processes involved in doing business in the industry. The conference will be analysing ways of bridging communication methods to improve the potential for success in the private aviation market.
Speakers at the event will include Avinode's Managing Director, Oliver King, who will be analysing the status of the charter market, which regions are growing fastest and providing detailed forecasts for 2013.
A representative from EUROCONTROL will present findings on the recent evolution of flights and private and business aviation specifically in CEE countries.
Other speakers will include Nick Fitzpatrick, the CEO of ATRON; Martin Hudec, the Chairman of Opera Jet; Carol Cork, the Co Founder of PrivateFly and an expert in the intricacies of Aviation Security.
A panel led by the Ogilvy's CEO, Dita Stejskalova, will explore the industry's growing use of social media to interact with clients. The panel will consider whether this new platform strengthens or dilutes luxury brands.
There will be a number of panels chaired by key industry members, which will cover Economics, Marketing and Manufacturers issues. Other panels will cover Aircraft Financing and Aircraft Brokerage
• The Economics panel will generate debate on the region's current financial status, what barriers exist for CEE countries, where the region currently sits in the economic cycle and whether or not the region is a hostage to the fortunes of the Eurozone.
• The Marketing panel will give delegates the opportunity to discuss ways of broadening the awareness of the industry to users and discuss if the current selling mechanisms, for aircraft charter in particular, are too complicated.
• The Manufactures panel will generate discussion on aircraft models currently stimulating demand and what is driving the growth in the new customer market.
Commenting on this year's conference CEPA Chairman Brendan Lodge said ''The content of this year's Expo demonstrates the realistic and focused approach that CEPA has to genuinely aiding private aviation business in central and eastern Europe. The relevant panels and speakers will give delegates the best insight into how to improve their chances of success in this increasingly important part of the world."
