As of today, the GECI International group has not succeeded in closing the financing required for the Skylander program, led by GECI Aviation's subsidiary Sky Aircraft SAS.
Despite the important efforts undertaken to find a long-lasting solution for the Skylander program and its employees, Sky Aircraft SAS was today placed into receivership by the Commercial Court of Briey (Meurthe-et-Moselle, France) with an observation period of six months.
This period will be used to finalize all initiatives undertaken prior to the start of these proceedings, with the aim of ensuring a future for the program.
Trading of GECI Aviation's stock, subsidiary of GECI International, has been suspended since June 7, 2012. The Commercial Court has agreed to the adjournment of the publication of the company's 2011-2012 fiscal year accounts until December 31, 2012.
