Heli Air Gloucester gets off to fine start

More than 100 invited guests were at Gloucestershire Airport on September 22nd for the opening of Heli Air Gloucester. Heli Air hospitality was on offer throughout the day, from 10am through to 6pm, and ideal weather conditions, warm sunshine with gentle winds from the east, meant that guests were able to take full advantage of the opportunity to take flights in a range of helicopters - an R22 and R44, an R66 Turbine in very special livery, a classic Bell 47 and a Bell 206 JetRanger.

Training is one of the key services on offer at Heli Air Gloucester, home to the company's new Flight Instructor Academy which already has confirmed students. There have also been several confirmations for private pilot - PPL(H) training and for commercial pilot training CPL(H).

Brian Kane, Heli Air's Head of Sales & Marketing, thanked all of the guests for helping to make the opening of Heli Air Gloucester such a memorable occasion and expressed particular gratitude to the Gloucestershire Airport management team for their support in the setting-up of Heli Air's latest base.
