Standard Aero has appointed Michael Moore as Senior Vice President of Associated Air Center (AAC), the VIP transport completion facility in Dallas, TX.
For the past year Moore has served as Vice President Production, Planning and Supply Chain at AAC where he had responsibility for production, manufacturing, maintenance, planning and supply-chain.
"We are fortunate to have someone with Mike's extensive aviation management experience take the helm at our Dallas facility," said Standard Aero CEO Paul Soubry. "Since the acquisition by DAE Engineering last year we have invested in capability, capacity and personnel. We are keen to have Mike lead AAC to the next level of expertise and performance."
Prior to coming to AAC Moore served as Vice President and General Manager of an Aviation Services Company where he managed sales, quality assurance, materials, operations and human resources for MRO providers and in the Airline industry where he held the position of Director of Operations and managed large fleets of engines.
Moore holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and is a graduate of Valdosta State University. He is also a licensed A&P.
