Press Release
Issued by GainJet Aviation.
September 6, 2012
It's official! Online voting has now begun for the next round of The European Business Awards (EBAs), Europe's most prestigious business awards, and GainJet Aviation is set to represent the business aviation industry as one of the only executive jet operators nominated. GainJet had been elected as a National Finalist for this year's EBAs, after progressing in the first round of the awards in May 2012, despite tough competition.
GainJet operates a wide selection of executive aircraft available for private charter based throughout Europe and the Middle-East, ranging from corporate airliners like their VIP Boeing 757 and VIP Boeing 737s to long range, large cabin business jets like their Gulfstream G550, G450, and Bombardier Global Express XRS.
Even though most of the award winners are chosen by an esteemed panel of judges, this year, for the first time ever, organisers of the EBAs have introduced a new video element to the awards and also a brand new online public voting system. The company video with the highest number of votes for Greece will automatically get through to the next round of voting and become a National Champion. The public vote takes place between 6th September and 17th October 2012, which gives each company just over 40 days to get as many votes as possible. This is where you can get involved. All National Finalists from Greece and Europe have produced a video submission, which has been uploaded onto the European Business Awards website (www.businessawardseurope.com). So the EBAs urges everyone to get online, view the videos, and vote.
GainJet CEO Captain James McBride says, "To be selected as one of the national finalists amongst many quality contenders to represent Greece as well as the BizAv industry is an honour for GainJet. We are hoping that the public will get behind us and take time to view our video and cast their vote. We enjoyed making our video submission and believe it gives us an opportunity to explain the background to the corporate aviation business and highlight why we are successful despite the current economic conditions. We hope that anyone interested in business aviation will enjoy watching our video and vote for us."
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards says, "This new process provides a greater opportunity for companies to engage with supporters in their own country as well as presenting their achievements to a wider audience across Europe. These videos show some of the most successful and sustainable companies in Europe and we hope that anyone interested in business will take some time to watch the videos, either from their own country or from other countries and then vote for their favourites."
Video presentations and online voting are accessible online via the EBAs website at www.businessawardseurope.com
