Andrea Nemec appointed EBAA manager safety and rule making

On September 3, EBAA will welcome Andrea Nemec as the association's new manager safety and rule making. In this role, he will be an integral part of the EBAA Aeropolitical Team.

Andrea's responsibilities will cover monitoring EASA rule-making and technical developments affecting aviation operations, licensing and certification; analysing and assessing the economical and operational implications of safety rule-making for business aircraft operators; participating in aviation regulatory and technical activities at European and international institutions; and steering the development of EBAA policy on technical, safety and operational matters in cooperation with the association's members and European regulators.

Andrea Nemec should have little difficulty easing into this new role within the association, having recently served as GNSS and System Engineer at INECO in Spain and prior to that having been Expert Regulatory Affairs within the SESAR Joint Undertaking. In fact, over the years he has built a solid career in Air Transport and EU Policy. EBAA is pleased to welcome him aboard!
