Rizon Jet's Doha team welcomes new director ground operations

Qatar-based private aviation services provider Rizon Jet has signed up a new director of ground operations to its team based in Doha.

Aviation professional Christopher Eden brings a wealth of experience gained around the world, most recently in Australia where he was a safety systems inspector at the Australia Civil Aviation Safety Authority in Perth. His previous Middle East experience includes ground operations roles with companies in Abu Dhabi and in Doha.

At Doha, Christopher will be responsible for the conduct and regulatory compliance of all Rizon Jet Doha fleet operations and is specifically tasked with flight standards and safety management, as well as the company's day to day operations.

Chief executive officer of Rizon Jet, Captain Hassan Al-Mousawi, said: "These are exciting times for Rizon Jet, as we drive the business forward to make the most of market opportunities. Christopher is a high-calibre individual with excellent commercial and private aviation experience gained over a varied career. He has also been instrumental in developing effective safety and performance initiatives, invaluable experience which will undoubtedly contribute to Rizon Jet's commitment to providing unsurpassed standards of safety and service."

Rizon Jet, the only independent private jet operator with its own terminal in Qatar, is uniquely positioned to meet the demand of the flourishing Gulf market. The company is also the only Middle East operator to have a luxurious VIP FBO based in the international aviation hub of London, Biggin Hill. Moreover, with the company's engineering capability, Rizon Jet intends to be a key player providing engineering and maintenance services for business jets and private aircraft in both locations.
