Qatar-based private aviation services provider Rizon Jet is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Clarke as director of technical services, based in Doha.

Mike joins from BBA Aviation, where he served for 18 years in progressively responsible positions culminating in his role as sales & marketing director for Sub Sahara Africa. Previously, his sales and technical responsibilities covered the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and Africa.

As director of technical services, Mike is responsible for the management, refinement and growth of the Rizon Jet Technical Services that currently include Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) facilities in Doha and Biggin Hill in London.

Chief Executive Officer of Rizon Jet, Captain Hassan Al-Mousawi, said: "We are delighted to welcome Mike to the team. Rizon Jet's maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) division provides technical support for an array of aircraft types. Certification and approvals are being developed all the time, and currently cover a range of Bombardier and Hawker types.

Alongside its MRO, charter and management divisions, Rizon Jet offers independent private jet owners access to its fixed-base operations (FBO) – comprising services like fuelling, hangarage and VIP passenger handling – at its state of the art terminals in Doha and Biggin Hill, London.
