Bargate Murray, the award-winning City law firm, is delighted to announce the formation of a new aviation department headed up by new partner Alfred Merckx.
Alfred Merckx is a leading international aviation lawyer who joins Bargate Murray from Dubai based JetEx Flight Support where he was General Counsel. Previously an aviation partner at City shipping law firms Sinclair Roche (now Stephenson Harwood) and Thomas Cooper, he acquired extensive experience in business aviation including as head of legal at a Middle Eastern executive VIP airline.
At Bargate Murray, Alfred will be responsible for the development of a new aviation department which will mainly focus on business aviation. This will compliment Bargate Murray's Superyacht Group, headed by senior partner Quentin Bargate, which already enjoys an international reputation in acting on major superyacht projects.
