June 7, 2012
Jet Aviation Basel has recently completed its 5th Dassault EASy II avionics flight deck installation on Falcon 900EX/DX/LX series aircraft.
EASy flight deck technology, based on Honeywell's Primus Epic integrated avionics system, has simplified flight management tasks by providing a computer interface to improve crew coordination and situational awareness, while reducing the risk of making errors. It is the basic flight management system for current and future Dassault Falcon cockpits.
As an authorized Dassault Service Center, Jet Aviation has been installing EASy II upgrades since its market introduction last year and recently completed its 5th upgrade on Falcon 900 series aircraft. Customer demand for EASy II installations continues, and Jet Aviation will soon begin fulfilling additional orders for the upgrades.
"Whether customers seek the improved functionality of the standard configuration, want a more comprehensive image through optional features or wish to meet future regulatory requirements, Jet Aviation maintenance professionals are committed to the highest safety standards to ensure customer investment in an EASy II upgrade provides the functionality they desire and the security they need," says Laurent Schnöbelen, manager of the Dassault Falcon Aircraft Maintenance Team at Jet Aviation Basel.
For improved safety features and accessibility to airports, the EASy II upgrade is available to all Falcon F900EX/DX/LX and Falcon 7X aircraft, as well as to Falcon 2000EX/DX/LX EASy-equipped cockpits.
