German private jet operator, FAI rent-a-jet AG, will introduce its latest acquisition, a Bombardier Global Express (D-AFAM), at EBACE 2012 today.
With a complete new interior for 14 passengers plus a 2-seat crew rest area, WiFi high speed Internet and worldwide SAT TV, this Global Express will surely attract the crowd that will reunite once again in Geneva this week for yet another successful European business aviation convention.
"D-AFAM is available for charter of course but also for sale or lease." says Siegfried Axtmann, Chairman of FAI. "We are experiencing increasing demands for long range aircraft in both air charter and ACMI lease. This is why we decided to add a second Global to our fleet, very likely to be followed by a third one soon" Axtmann adds.
FAI operates a fleet of 20 jets including Bombardier Global Express, Challenger 604, CRJ 200, Falcon 900 EASy and Learjet 35/40/55/60. FAI has held an Air Operator Certificate for more than 25 years as well as an EASA Part-145 maintenance license. The company employs a staff of more than 150 people, and is based at Nuremberg International Airport in Germany in its new FBO facility of 6000 square meters.
