Universal to support first locally-based Irish Air Ambulance Service

AeroMedevac Ireland (AMI), the first locally-based Irish Air Ambulance Service, announced that it has signed a cooperation memorandum for Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. to support its critical life-saving missions by providing handling, fueling and trip support services.

AeroMedevac Ireland, based at Dublin International Airport (EIDW), provides air ambulance transport for private medical insurers and medical assistance providers, and also offers assistance to both individuals and families requiring an air ambulance repatriation of a loved one.

"Every second counts in our life-saving missions, so we needed a provider that could ensure that our aviation services needs were taken care of quickly with the highest degree of competence," said Keith Trower, CEO, AeroMedevac Ireland.
