Comlux America has been awarded the completion contract for Hyundai Motor Company's BBJ. This contract award marks Comlux America's 2nd BBJ aircraft completion award and 5th completion overall.
The BBJ is expected to arrive at the Comlux America facility during the 2nd quarter of 2013 and will be completed in the new Comlux hangar which will open during the summer of 2012. Hyundai Motor Company will be represented by the company Avjet Corporation led by CEO Marc Foulkrod. Marc's involvement was integral in the selection of the best completion center for this project. This new contract Comlux further affirms the continued growth of the company along with the upcoming completion of a brand new facility.
The aircraft interior is being designed by the Comlux design department, Comlux Creatives. The cabin features will include a forward lounge area and a private office which can be converted into a large bedroom in the middle of the cabin. The aircraft will be equipped with its own private bathroom and a sophisticated business class seating area at the rear of the cabin. The aircraft will also be equipped with the latest technology including a Satcom system with swift broadband capabilities, video streaming to Ipads, mood lighting and an upgraded insulation package to make it one of the quietest cabin interiors in the air.
