David Gering appointed Head of Business Development – aviation at Charleroi

Meeting on 28 February under the chairmanship of Mrs Edmée De Groeve, the Board of Directors of BSCA approved the nomination of David Gering as Head of Business Development – aviation.

Following a high level recruitment procedure, David Gering was selected as the best choice for the task which had been previously defined. His main mission will be to attract new airlines to Charleroi Brussels South and thus contribute to the commercial diversification of the airport.

David Gering, 35, speaks four languages. He has a deep experience of the airline and airport sectors and of their commercial and economic environment. He has been based at the airport for five years and fully understands its operation and expectations. He is the ideal candidate for this important mission.

BSCA CEO Marcel Buelens said:

I am today extremely happy to have him join the BSCA team and work with us on commercial diversification and toward achieving our goals.
