Yousif adds: "Al Bateen Executive Airport is one of the most exclusive business aviation venues in the world and I am proud to be taking on the responsibility of running such an innovative and successful enterprise. Al Bateen has already made its mark in business aviation and look forward to building on the airport's many successes with its terrific management team."

In addition to his executive role at Al Bateen, Yousif is President of the newly formed Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, UAE (AOPA, UAE), President of the Emirates Aviation Association, Middle East Representative of IFATCA (the International Federation of Air Traffic Controller Associations ), President of the Gulf Aero sport Federation and UAE Vice President of FAI (the World Air Sport Federation) in which capacity he has chaired and organised numerous air shows and aeronautical events in different parts of the UAE under the patronage of their Highnesses the rulers of the UAE.

Al Bateen Executive airport registered 2,641 commercial aircraft movements in the first three months of 2012 of which 618 were itinerant movements of non-based aircraft visiting the airport.
