ExecuJet is proud to announce that its Australasian operation has achieved the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) certification, as of 22 March, 2012. The initial accreditation audit was completed with zero findings.

ExecuJet Australasia's flight department joins the list of proactive flight departments around the world that have implemented IS-BAO to manage the safety, security and efficiency of their operations. ExecuJet is also IS-BAO certified in Africa, Europe and in the Middle East.

Getting the official approval from The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) makes us proud as it demonstrates our commitment in ensuring a safe working environment to best industry practices for us and our clients," says Darren McGoldrick, Managing Director, ExecuJet Australasia.

The foundation of IS-BAO is the development of a safety management system to assess the risks encountered in flight operations. It is modelled on the ISO 9000 family of standards. Validation of the entire process has to be completed by an independent accredited ISBAO audit company. This adds to ExecuJet Australia's existing Flight Safety Foundation BARS, HART and The Wyvern Standard accreditations, which have all recently been renewed.

New aircraft joining fleet

In April a new Challenger 604, based in Perth, joined ExecuJet Australasia's regional fleet and is now available for charter. The Challenger 604, a long-distance performer with agility to handle short-range missions can fly Perth to Auckland non-stop. Renowned for its comfortable widebody cabin the aircraft can accommodate nine passengers with a flight attendant and is equipped with on-board entertainment and satellite phone.
