Gulfstream names Aniruddh Srivastava regional director for service parts distribution in India

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has appointed Aniruddh Srivastava as regional director, Service Parts Distribution, India. Srivastava, a native of India who is fluent in Hindi, will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to store and distribute Gulfstream parts and materials in-country in support of customers.

Srivastava, who will be based in India, reports to Aubry Mayse, director of planning and distribution, Product Support Materials.

"With the ongoing growth of the Gulfstream fleet in Asia, we are adding more and more resources to the region to serve our customers," said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream Product Support. "Positioning people and parts closer to our operators enhances the efficiency of our worldwide product support network and helps keep their aircraft's downtime to a minimum."

Srivastava will play an integral role in a global Gulfstream Product Support organization that includes approximately 3,500 employees, $1.2 billion in parts and materials inventory and more than 30 company-owned or authorized service facilities. Support resources in India also include field service representative Kannan Kumar in Chennai and authorized warranty line-service facility Air Works in Mumbai.

Prior to his promotion, Srivastava was a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at Gulfstream for more than three years. He began his career at Gulfstream in 2005 as a manufacturing technical specialist with the New Product Development team.

"Aniruddh's experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives, his extensive familiarity with our service parts supply chain, and his knowledge of the Indian market will be invaluable in his new position," said Derek Zimmerman, vice president, Product Support Materials.

Srivastava earned a Master of Business in manufacturing management from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He holds a bachelor's degree in production engineering from the University of Pune in India.
