ExecuJet is marking the six month anniversary of its FBO Services in Istanbul this month. During this time the facility which offers services in cooperation with Bilen Air Service has grown significantly, now handling around 800 movements a year. Aircraft visiting have been as large as the Embraer Lineage and A320, highlighting the company's capability to competently handle the full range of business aircraft from small to large cabin aircraft.
The Istanbul facility is home to 12 dedicated personnel, providing fast and exclusive VIP passenger handling for all arriving and departing business aircraft. ExecuJet and Bilen offer hangarage at Istanbul Airport which can accommodate large aircraft such as the Falcon 7X, Global Express and G550.
"The recent unusual cold snap and snow in Turkey has meant our exclusive hangarage and services have been in high demand" Tolga Asan, Assistant General Manager of Bilen stated. "The feedback on FBO services we are receiving from crews and passengers alike is excellent and we are focused on making the best even better".
"Turkey is an important market in Europe. Globalisation and economic growth in Turkey have helped to support the country's aviation sector" explains Mark Abbott, ExecuJet Group FBO Director. "For many corporations the need for alternative travel arrangements have emerged and we are very happy that we have formed the partnership with Bilen Air Services in Istanbul in order to serve this need".
