Rhodes Communications expands into new facilities

Rhodes Communications, Inc., a Norfolk, Va.-based PR and marketing communications firm serving international clients, has relocated to a larger building to accommodate its growing staff.

"We have experienced record growth over the last three years," said Jim Rhodes, company president. "The move into larger quarters will give us the space we need to continue our rapid expansion in the future."

Rhodes Communications' new office building, located in the heart of Norfolk's historic Ghent district, is more than twice the size of the former offices. The company has added four new employees during the past 12 months to support its growing client list.

Founded in 1983, Rhodes Communications specializes in business-to-business promotions in vertical markets for national and international accounts. The company's current client list includes companies like Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine, Iridium Satellite, Dometic Corporation, Bavaria Yachts, StarChase, Palladium Technologies, Boats.com/YachtWorld.com and the Taylor Made Group.

"This is the beginning of our 25th year of business," said Rhodes. "While we're pleased with our recent growth curve, we're actively taking steps to accelerate our efforts to bring in new business and expand our repertoire of services, especially in the area of online marketing and media."

This year, the company also re-launched its Marine NewsWire service, which distributes press releases for companies in the marine business to a worldwide database of more than 1,500 marine-industry press contacts in 42 countries. It includes both commercial and recreational marine markets. To learn more, please visit www.marinenewswire.com.
