Press Release
Issued by BACC Business Aviation Center Cologne.
December 19, 2011
2 months after opening, the new General Aviation Terminal in Cologne has already handled over 2,000 passengers. Almost all of the 2,680 passengers have crossed the German border through our GAT. "With 1,700 guests that we have transported and taken care of, the Business Aviation Center Cologne has more than successfully begun“, according to Station Manager Dirk Laufenberg. These guests compromised all those who were not handled by other companies. And Dirk Laufenberg adds, "this was achieved just in the months of September and October. I am very optimistic that business will continue at this speed“. The numbers speak for themselves. The number of airlines who not only take advantage of the transportation to and from the plane, but ask about the services offered by Business Aviation Center Cologne is continuously growing. The reasons being more comfort for the passenger and crew, time-saving coordination of services (fueling, catering etc) as well as bundling the responsibilities to one contact person. These are big benefits for the passengers who value exclusivity, flights with a larger passenger volume or fast turnarounds.
