New MI-34C1 hits Middle East commercial helicopter market and obtains regional distributor

Russian Helicopters, JSC, a subsidiary of UIC Oboronprom appointed Emirates Corporation Trading Agencies LLC as a regional distributor of the light single-engine helicopter Mi-34C1 in the Gulf countries. The Agreement was signed in Dubai, UAE, at the Dubai Airshow. The Agreement envisions marketing, sales and technical support for the Mi-34C1, as well as flight training.

The new light-class multipurpose Russian Mi-34C1 designed for commercial and private operations was presented to the Middle East aviation market at Dubai Airshow, where it became one of the main show-stoppers at Russian Helicopters stand W647.

The Mi-34C1 can be used for corporate and private flights, as well as passenger and goods transportation, monitoring, eco-surveillance, policing, oil and gas pipeline integrity, electricity lines monitoring.

The Mi-34C1 can perform advanced aerobatics, making it an indispensable aircraft in international helicopter sports competitions. The maneuverability and rigid airframe of the Mi-34C1 make it the best choice for short and medium flight legs.

The Mi-34C1 was first showcased to the general public at the Moscow Airspace Salon MAKS 2011. The Mi-34C1 was displayed at the Russian Helicopters static display, as well as taking part in the rich promotional programme.
