JetEx Flight Support launches FBO at Shannon

JetEx has announced the establishment of a Joint Venture Agreement between Westair and JetEx Flight Support, having initiated operations at the FBO of Westair in Shannon (EINN, Ireland), located at Shannon's South East ramp.

This state of the art facility is the new addition to JetEx's rapidly expanding global FBO Network next to the luxurious facilities in Paris, Le Bourget and Kiev, Zhulyany.

It consists of more than 40.000 sq. ft. in hangars, an executive terminal, offices, own apron and fuel bowser, offering the quickest aircraft turns and the most convenient VIP passenger handling at maximum security with only one minute from car to aircraft.

The FBO in Shannon will provide EASA-approved line and base maintenance support for several aircraft types in addition to a comprehensive range of ground support equipment, into-plane fueling, parking, pilot lounge, flight planning room, computerized weather systems, crew transportation, hotel accommodation and catering arrangements.

Shannon is the first airport in the world outside of the Americas to offer Full US pre-clearance facilities to passengers travelling to the continental United States through its USCBP Terminal. It is strategically located for technical stops for flights crossing the Atlantic from (Eastern) Europe, the Middle East and the CIS, continuing to any point of entry, either Domestic or International in the US. JetEx Shannon organizes every detail on the client's behalf.

"Shannon is a premier location for our growth strategy. Frank has developed a great facility, one of a kind in Ireland. We are very pleased to expand into Shannon where our customers can greatly enjoy a luxurious service using the FBO and can also choose to benefit from clearing for their US destination, thus saving both time and money, not to mention the maintenance support available" stated Adel Mardini, CEO of JetEx.

"The joint venture with JetEx ensures that two similarly focused businesses, combining their unique strengths to develop a truly world class FBO at Shannon International Airport, with facilities unmatched by any other service provider in Ireland will make Shannon the number one location for transatlantic aircraft requiring support" announced Frank Moloney, CEO of Westair.
