Gore Design Completions, Ltd. delivers first Boeing 777-200LR on time

Gore Design Completions, ltd. (GDC) delivered its second consecutive on-time delivery to a central Asian head of state last week. The green completion of the Boeing 777 marks the first aircraft of its type to go through the San Antonio based completions center.

With only twelve months of downtime in San Antonio, the aircraft was completed one month ahead of schedule. Combined with GDC's recent on time delivery of a head of state Boeing 767-300, the company has proven that their heavy work-load will not compromise the quality and efficiency of their work. Owner Jerry Gore is proud that "we have delivered two on-time, wide-body green completions while also working on another three wide-bodies and two narrow-body aircrafts consecutively. All are VVIP level and a great indicator of the work we can do at GDC."

Design and engineering for this project was completed at GDC prior to the arrival of the aircraft. The spacious design includes a VIP suite complete with stateroom, dressing room and lavatory. The main entry to the aircraft features artwork inlaid with mother of pearl and LED edge lighting, all machined at GDC.

This aircraft marks the third green completion GDC has provided for this customer, the first of which was the company's inaugural completion upon opening the doors of its current hangar in 2005.
