StandardAero Business Aviation announced that Marc McGowan has been named Vice President, Business Development, Strategy and Product Management. McGowan will be located in Tempe, Ariz. and will serve as a key member of the Business Aviation Leadership Team. McGowan will be responsible for driving the implementation of a sustainable long-term strategy for Business Aviation, developing and managing the sector's maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and upgrade services portfolio for aircraft and engines and for leading new business initiatives and alliances.

"Marc will be a key factor in helping StandardAero Business Aviation exercise the best growth strategies both domestically and internationally. We are fortunate to add his expertise to our staff."
McGowan joins StandardAero from Honeywell Aerospace, where he most recently served as Vice President, International Defense & Space located in Rolle, Switzerland, where he was responsible for managing a $1.1 billion business portfolio and implementing a new structure to optimize the company's global military enterprise. During his 20 years with Honeywell, McGowan held a number of important positions including Vice President, Airlines – Americas, Vice President, Aircraft Platforms – Engine Systems and Accessories, Vice President, Global Aftermarket Services Sales and Marketing and Vice President, Global Business Aviation Sales and Account Management. In addition, he has held other leadership positions in product and program management. Prior to Honeywell, McGowan worked for Douglas Aircraft Company (now Boeing) and also worked at Rockwell-Collins Flight Dynamics.
McGowan holds an MBA from Oregon State University and a bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach. He is also a retired Captain in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
