Jet Aviation Abu Dhabi has received official authorization to operate out of its new branch office at Al Bateen Executive Airport.
Jet Aviation Abu Dhabi is now licensed to provide line maintenance services to local, regional and international business aircraft owners and operators flying into Al Bateen Executive Airport. The company is the first independent MRO provider to operate out of the exclusive business aviation airport.
"The licensing of our line maintenance branch at Al Bateen Executive Airport is a very timely expansion to Jet Aviation's global maintenance network," says Michael Rücker, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Dubai. "Aircraft movements at Al Bateen Executive Airport have increased significantly this past year and line maintenance service delivery at Abu Dhabi is fast becoming an essential service to this important growing customer base."
Stephen Jones, general manager of Al Bateen Executive Airport, says, "We are happy to welcome Jet Aviation at Al Bateen. With its global network and extensive experience, this is an important association for our aviation clients and we look forward to a long business relationship."
Al Bateen Executive Airport is a dedicated business jet airport conveniently located only five kilometers from the central business district of Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital. The downtown location of Al Bateen Executive Airport makes it ideal for users of business jets, whose time is valuable and who have a high regard for the convenience that personalized jet travel can bring. It is easily accessible off the Abu Dhabi-to-Dubai highway, making the center of Dubai a short motorway journey of 1hr 15mins.
Jet Aviation Abu Dhabi was established in September 2011 as an affiliate of Jet Aviation Dubai. As such, the facility is authorized to provide line maintenance services and warranty support to Boeing BBJ, the Gulfstream GIV and GV series, the Dassault Falcon 900, 2000 and 7X series, the Hawker Beechcraft 800 series and Embraer Legacy aircraft.
