FAI's Jet fleet expands to 20 aircraft

German operator FAI rent-a-jet AG has added a Learjet 40XR to its fleet of business jets, boosting the Learjet fleet to now 14 aircraft reflecting one of the largest in Europe. The LJ 40XR, D-CLUZ is operated by FAI on behalf of a corporate client. Beside the 14 Learjets, FAI operates CL 604s, Global Express, CRJ 200LR and Falcon 900 DX EASy, now a fleet of 20 business jets in total. FAI closed the books of the first semester 2011 with revenues of €25m (USD3 m) and is expecting annual revenues for 2011 of more than €50m (USD74m). This reflects a growth of around 20 % on 2010. “With our brand new, company owned hangar and FBO facilities at Nuremberg International Airport in Germany, FAI now is more attractive for aircraft owners, looking for professional turnkey management including maintenance, and there are some owners around not quite happy with their existing managment company.” said Siegfried Axtmann, Chairman and Founder in a recent statement. FAI will be present for the first time at Jet Expo in September in Moscow with a booth and a Falcon 900 on static display.
