Wheel-shop capabilities added to JetSupport work scope

JetSupport has extended its in-house wheels-shop capabilities by investing in a broader product range. As an EASA Part 145 certified maintenance organization JetSupport was already in the possession of some of the current the capabilities, however the services were only used to support its internal operation. In answer to customer requests JetSupport now has opened its wheels-shop for third parties, now actively marketing its potential. Wheel assemblies from manufacturers such as Meggit, BF Goodrich, Messier Bugatti and others can now be serviced, repaired and overhauled.

The investments and optimization extended beyond the wheels-shop, to its material management department since the start-to-end process requires a perfect logistical back-up. 'We are continuously optimizing our processes to assure short turnaround times for our customer's components', says Marco Zantman – Material manager at JetSupport. Opening the in-house capabilities to the market fits in JetSupport's strategy to broaden its product range to offer aircraft owners and operators a complete service package.

JetSupport b.v. is an EASA Part-145 certified maintenance organization, specialized in Business Aviation and focused on providing high quality aircraft maintenance services for aircraft owners and operators. With its 3500 sqm. hangars, JetSupport is based adjacent to the new General Aviation terminal at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, The Netherlands.
