Hat trick for PremiAir wins travel industry accolade as best executive aviation charter operator again

PremiAir, the leading executive helicopter charter operator, has been voted Best Executive Aviation Provider at Buying Business Travel's Diamond Awards 2008, for the third year running.

It scooped the prestigious magazine's accolade in the buoyant business aviation sector amid tough competition, voted for by the industry's most important customers – who are responsible for securing the best service and value from suppliers.  Short-listed candidates were put forward for a final online voting by the magazine's 16,000-strong readership.   In PremiAir's category, Air Charter Service, Air Partner, Hunt & Palmer and London Executive Aviation were all commended.

The award was presented to PremiAir's Group Managing Director, David McRobert, at the glittering Awards Ceremony and Christmas Ball, held at London's Hurlingham Club yesterday evening, Thursday 6 December.   Leading travel buyers Jeff Allwright (Airbus UK), Ginny Harris, (Glaxo SmithKline), Rebecca Perry (RJ Kiln), Caroline Strachan (Yahoo International),  Robbie Hughes (Oracle Corp), made up the Year 2008 Nominations Panel, supported by the UK's top travel journalists, David Churchill, Colin Ellson, Bob  Papworth, David Richardson and Mike Toynbee (Chairman and Editor of Buying Business Travel).

"We are delighted to once again receive the endorsement of Buying Business Travel's VIP buyers and its readers.  This award from within the corporate travel industry is especially appreciated as the votes are cast by those who know the industry well and who appreciate the effort and dedication that the PremiAir charter team puts in to make their clients' travel experiences both pleasant and memorable," said David McRobert.
