Landmark Aviation, a Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Engineering company, today announced that it has been named a Worthington Aviation Westwind Product Support Authorized Facility by Worthington Aviation for product support on all Westwind aircraft.
"We're very pleased to expand the aircraft services we provide to include repair and overhaul on the Westwind," said Harvey Ticlo, Senior Vice President, Business Aviation Market Sector. "We are here to serve Westwind aircraft owners and operators with a full range of nose-to-tail maintenance, repairs and modifications."
Work will be performed at Augusta, Ga., Houston and Los Angeles – Landmark MRO centers that are fully authorized for service and support on several airframes and aircraft systems. The facilities will also maintain an inventory of parts to fully support the aircraft.
The Landmark locations also offer complete maintenance and repair services for the TFE731 engine, which powers the 1124 Westwind.
Earlier this year, the company's Augusta facility also performed the industry's first 10,000 hour maintenance on the IAI Astra, in conjunction with a C Check on the aircraft. The Astra, introduced into service in 1986, is a fleet numbering approximately 150 aircraft. Based on flight hours, many of these aircraft are now approaching the 10,000 ALS required inspection.
