ABS Jets are celebrating a flood of new business inquiries following a number of announcements the company made at EBACE. The first announcement was of a joint partnership between ABS Jets and Avcon Jet, which will result in the opening of an Embraer line maintenance station at Kiev Borispol airport. During EBACE ABS Jets received a series of new business inquiries from customers interested in having their aircraft maintained at the facility.
It was on the opening day of EBACE that the announcement of the opening of the Kiev maintenance facility was formally finalized by a signing ceremony which took place on the ABS Jets booth at EBACE on the 17th May. Subsequently ABS Jets received a continuous stream of visitors asking about maintenance of the their aircraft at the Kiev facility. This news marks a very successful EBACE for ABS Jets who made two significant announcements at EBACE.
The second announcement ABS Jets made at EBACE was the signing of an agreement between ABS Jets and Emirates CAE training to train pilots for multiple aircraft at Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) in Dubai, UAE.
ABS Jets Chief Executive Officer, Vladimir Petak was extremely pleased with the company's participa- tion at EBACE this year, speaking about the event he said "EBACE 2011 has been a very positive show for ABS Jets. Since formalizing our agreements with Avcon Jet and CAE I have been extremely pleased and pleasantly surprised by the level of interest these announcements have generated. We always knew that there was a market for our services in these regions but to have started a number of discus- sions underway during EBACE is an excellent indicator as to how successful these businesses will be. We expect to make further announcements soon regarding our first customers for the Kiev facility."
Antonia Tomkova Commercial Director of ABS Jets underlined the upbeat outlook of the ABS Jets CEO. Commenting on ABS Jets participation at EBACE she said "We knew that the announcements we made at EBACE were going to be perfectly timed to meet the growing demand in these areas. The fact that we have been able to move discussions along so quickly has been an excellent confirmation of our presence in these markets and further consolidation of our position at the forefront of European Business Aviation."
