Airbus Corporate Jet Centre innovates with HDMI standard for Full HD in ACJ vip cabins

Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), the specialist in Airbus Corporate Jet VIP cabin completion and customised nose-to-tail services, is the first on the VIP cabin market to offer ACJ customers the highest image quality with a Full HD system based on the latest HDMI® (High Definition Multimedia Interface) standard, from local sources to displays. ACJ operators can now make the most of the widest screen capabilities with the highest resolution, thanks to ACJC's HDMI® standard for local application.

As VIP customers increasingly request the same entertainment systems that they have at home, such as the latest Full HD format (1080p), ACJC's research and co-operation with innovative partners has led to a customised offer in the VIP cabin In-Flight High Definition

market.

"Our competitors offer HD systems, but as far as I know, ACJC is the only one to offer a real Full HD system based on an HDMI® wiring network with 1080p image broadcast. This allows us to propose in local VIP areas, such as the office or bedroom, the latest and highest image

quality standard on the market. Our HDMI® standard, thanks to its protocol, is the best current solution able to maintain the initial HD video quality," says Benoit Defforge, Chief Executive Officer of the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre.

ACJC also believes that it is the first on the market to propose its customers Full HD quality on up to 4 screens in each private area simultaneously, either from a local HD source (e.g: Blu-Ray player) or from an external device with an HDMI® plug (e.g: video game console,

laptop). The HDMI® format system developed by ACJC with its partners allows distribution of video signals from 4 internal or external sources to 4 outputs, with no degradation. This is the best way for customers to change their local entertainment source, whenever they want and on every screen they have chosen.

For comfort, ACJC offers its customers a large range of screen sizes from 32in to 64in, all with resolution up to the latest Full HD standard. "Thanks to our HDMI® wiring system in VIP zones, our customers are now able to enjoy the best image quality offered by a widescreen.

Previously, only large HD screens were proposed but without an HD source combined with an HDMI® wiring system," adds Defforge.

In addition to the HDMI® wiring system used in private areas, ACJC offers the best standard of HD entertainment in other areas in the cabin. This is based on a multiple input/output HDSDI (High-Definition Serial Digital Interface) wiring system, suitable for distances up to 100m.

This recognised technology allows customers to enjoy HD quality from the widest range of in-Flight Entertainment HD sources, including Passenger Visual Information Systems, HD cameras (tail camera, landscape camera with zoom, 360° quadripod horizontal cameras),

multi-zone DVD/Blu-Ray players, AVOD server and portable devices.

"By bringing today's latest ground-based standards into the air, ACJC confirms its strong will and ability to be at the cutting edge of innovation and excellence. It is the best for the most demanding clientele," concludes Defforge.
