Jet Aviation Basel has been awarded a new BBJ2 completions project with an undisclosed client. The BBJ2 aircraft is expected to arrive in Basel in Q2 2012.
Jet Aviation Basel has signed another completions contract with an undisclosed client for a BBJ2.
"This new VIP BBJ2 completions contract validates our position in the market and our commitment to delivering the highest quality standards," says Eugen Hartl, vice president sales, market development and customer service for the completions business unit.
Jet Aviation has completed over 30 wide- and narrow-body aircraft the past 15 years. This year, Jet Aviation's Basel-based completions center is due to re-deliver several VIP aircraft for both private and governmental clients, including a Boeing B747-400 and a Boeing B757-200, as well as two Airbus A340 aircraft and an A319.
"Interest in customized completions of both wide-body and narrow-body aircraft continues to be high," added Hartl. "We are well prepared to support high demand in the large VIP aircraft segment. Our focus continues to be on developing our core processes, launching new technology - such as Catia V5 and Smarteam, as part of our Product Life-Cycle Management Strategy - and concentrating on delivering high-quality solutions to our customers."
