The superior products and systems for finishing and sealing textiles manufactured by the firm of Fiber Seal Aviation Services AG, Kesswil, Switzerland, are now available from OHS Aviation Service GmbH, Berlin, the experts in maintenance of executive jet interiors. "We are delighted to have found in OHS a partner who appreciates the worth of our advanced technical Fiber Seal process and who will be the exclusive supplier for Germany," says Hans Ruf, CEO at Fiber Seal.

The Fiber Seal technology protects textiles, like carpets, upholstered furniture or wall coverings for instance, from dirt and stains, thus making them particularly easy to care for. "Particularly with executive jets in the charter sector, it is important to protect the superior, sensitive fabrics effectively from soiling. During flights it is all to easy to spill a glass of red wine or a coffee. The protective coating that the Fiber Seal System provides reduces absorbency and prevents liquids from seeping into the material easily," explains Ornulf Hilarius, managing director at OHS. "This is why we are glad to be able to put this system to use for our customers. It saves money in the long term and makes it possible to extend the useful life of the fabrics significantly," continues Hilarius.

The Fiber Seal products have been approved in accordance with CS/FAR 25.853 and are thus flame-retardant.
