Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia (JASA) recently hosted the grand opening of its new 3,000-square-meter (32,292 sq. ft.) FBO facility at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah.
With over 80 guests from 10 countries, Jet Aviation's new FBO facility at KAIA in Jeddah celebrated its grand ribbon-cutting opening ceremony on May 4, 2011. Welcome and acknowledgement speeches were given by Sheik Fahad bin Mohammed Al- Nowaiser, CEO SBCC and Chairman Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia, Peter G. Edwards, President of the Jet Aviation Group, and H.E Mr. Abdulaziz A. Al- Angari, Vice President of Civil Aviation, which were followed by a lunch and tour of the facility.
"This new FBO facility is a tribute to our past and future success," said Edwards. "With 125 employees in Jeddah and Riyadh, we executed almost 12,400 movements last year and look forward to growing these numbers in the coming years."
Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia (JASA) is a long-standing joint venture company with Saudi Arabian partners and was the first company to set up an FBO in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its new 3,000 sq. m. (32,292 sq. ft.) facility boasts a cleverly designed passenger flow system, line and maintenance service capabilities, and enhanced service offerings, including a 24-hour shuttle service to Jeddah's international terminal and a newspaper service with nearly 1,000 different publications.
