Jeroen Koot becomes new President of Fokker Aircraft Service

On May, 4th 2011 the Executive Board of Fokker Technologies appointed Jeroen Koot as President of Fokker Aircraft Services, replacing Mr. Edwin Schilling.

Mr. Koot has extensive industrial experience in system engineering for, amongst others, the railway and luxury yachting industries.

From 2000 - 2005 he was Managing Director of Stork RMO where he led a major restructuring programme. Since then he has managed several other industrial companies. Mr. Koot studied mechanical engineering at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and holds an MBA Degree from INSEAD, Fontainbleau.

In appointing Mr. Koot as its new President, Fokker Aircraft Services reaffirms its commitment to promoting and strengthening the company's 'Aircrafting' identity and its role as an active innovative leader in the aerospace industry. The term 'Aircrafting' conveys the deep knowledge and intuition that comes from almost a century of aviation experience and innovation.
