Liege Airport announces the establishment on its site of Signature Flight Support, an America-based company specialized in business aviation handling.

As the sector's leading company, Signature Flight Support has a global network of more than 80 fixed based operations, mainly located in the United States and in Europe.

Its mission is to provide complete stopover services to owners of private aircraft. These services include welcoming passengers, taking care of customs formalities, ground handling, cleaning and technical services (basic aircraft maintenance).

They also provide support services to health flights (medical relief).

Signature Flight Support has been established at Liege Airport since 01 September 2007. The airport therefore now forms part of their global network and recently welcomed its first transatlantic flights.

With Signature Flight Support, Liege Airport intends to develop and expand the business aviation sector by providing a first-class range of services. Liege Airport has assigned a specific terminal to Signature Flight Support to ensure its customers receive a fast and discreet service.

The excellent geographical situation of Liege Airport, near Brussels, Maastricht and Cologne, combined with the strength of the Signature Flight Support network, means that significant growth in business aviation in the area can be envisaged.
