Signature Flight Support and Aviapartner, now in their second year of a successful commercial agreement at Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), announce the launch of a dedicated into-plane refueling service.
Starting in May, customers using Signature/Aviapartner at Nice Airport will benefit from a dedicated fuel bowser. "Fueling at Nice airport can often be challenging due to the high traffic volumes, particularly during the peak summer season," said Joe Gibney, Signature Flight Support's Vice President and Managing Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa. "Customer centricity – a guiding principal at Signature – is about delivering the services that our customers want, when they want them. In this case, customers want the security and convenience of immediate fueling, and by having our own dedicated fueling equipment we will meet that customer need."
"This is a key service that our customers want to see at Nice and we are delighted to be able to respond in such a positive manner," stated Pascal Matha, Executive Manager for Signature/Aviapartner Nice.
At EBACE in 2009, Signature and Aviapartner announced the launch of their commercial agreement at Nice Airport. In 2010 at EBACE, the companies announced their new state-of-the-art facility located within the dedicated General Aviation Terminal. The fully air-conditioned facility incorporates a comfortable VIP lounge, a dedicated pilot's lounge, and a business center. The FBO is capable of providing ground handling for all business and general aviation aircraft, as well as flight planning, crew accommodations coordination, crew transportation, and catering.
