Associated Air Center recognized for Boeing Business Jet achievement milestone - StandardAero becomes industry leader in BBJ completions

StandardAero announced today that Associated Air Center (AAC), its Large Transport Category, VIP aircraft Completions Center in Dallas, Texas, delivered its twentieth Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) completion. Acknowledging the milestone was Tracy Valentine, Director, Operations, BBJ/VIP Programs, who presented AAC with the gold BBJ silhouettes marking the achievement.

"We're pleased to recognize Associated Air Center for their industry leadership. Their volume of BBJ completions underscores the confidence and peace of mind their work provides customers," said Tracy Valentine, Director, Operations, BBJ/VIP Programs, Boeing. "Quality and reputation speaks for itself and AAC's commitment to both has served as the driving force behind their success."

Including StandardAero's legacy operation, Garrett General Aviation Service Division, StandardAero has completed 25 Boeing Business Jets, making it the industry leader in BBJ completions.

Boeing and Associated Air Center have enjoyed a long-standing industry partnership," said Jack Lawless, Chief Operating Officer, StandardAero and President, Associated Air Center. "The opportunity to celebrate this remarkable achievement with a senior member of the Boeing team, underscores the value of that partnership and the confidence they've placed in us to fulfill state-of-the-art completions work on BBJ aircraft."

With the company's current backlog of four additional BBJ completions, AAC, within a few short months will become the hands-down industry leader in VIP completions even without consideration of its Garrett legacy. As part of this achievement, Valentine presented a commemorative plaque to AAC signifying the achievement.
