Rockwell Collins today announced the addition of European Union (EU) Regional Trip Support (RTS) to its Ascend™ flight information solutions product line. The announcement was made at the 11th Annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition(EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland.
Ascend EU RTS provides flight departments access to the industry's only integrated, one-stop suite of flight operations applications and services from up-to-the-minute dispatch and flight planning to real-time synchronization of aircraft and ground systems anywhere in the world.
"European flight departments are more reliant on flight services that are easy to use, cost effective and in tune with the most current European airspace regulations," said Steve Timm, vice president and general manager of Information Management Systems for Rockwell Collins. "Ascend EU RTS customers can readily access the intelligence they need to make more timely and informed decisions about every facet of their flight operations."
Ascend EU RTS will benefit flight departments that operate and fly within Europe's complex airspace. Rockwell Collins' team of local experts will help customers manage the highly regulated environment. For European-based flight departments that fly outside of Europe, Rockwell Collins will continue to serve their needs with Ascend International Trip Support.
