Jet Aviation announces that Sebastian Groeger has been appointed the new senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Singapore, effective November 1, 2007. He succeeds Michael Sattler who will return to Jet Aviation Basel as vice president of maintenance. Sattler will facilitate Groeger's introduction to his new responsibilities during a transition period.
Prior to joining Jet Aviation, Groeger served as vice president and chief financial officer of MTU Maintenance in Berlin-Brandenburg. He has more than ten years' experience within the aerospace manufacturing industry in various management positions with MTU Maintenance Hannover and Daimler Chrysler Aerospace in Japan. His professional background is in finance, sales, business development and marketing, and he holds an MBA from the Edinburgh University Business School.
