Press Release
Issued by Euro Jet Intercontinental.
April 27, 2011
Euro Jet Intercontinental Ltd, Central and Eastern Europe's leading provider of aviation ground support services has expanded their operation into Poland. Currently, Poland has one of the fastest growing economies in Europe and expects to have a surge in foreign investment over the next few years.
Poland is divided into 14 economic zones that are spread out across the country. While these zones were established to attract foreign investment, it can be challenging to get to all the zones via the limited motorway (just 926km). Therefore the need for flying between cities has seen increased demand and a rapid expansion in the Polish General Aviation market.
Currently, Poland has on average 100 general aviation flights per day. However, there is limited VIP ground handling services at the airports. Most flights are handled by the local airport authority, which has little experience dealing with the logistics and attention to detail required for VIP and charter flights.
With its expansion into Poland, Euro Jet allows VIP aircraft, air ambulance, and commercial aircraft operators a partner that they can trust to properly handle VIP aircraft. This includes everything from coordinating specialized catering, escorting the passengers from the aircraft through the terminal, and coordinating all fuel uplift requirements. Euro Jet made a process that once seemed difficult to accomplish now be seamless for the customer.
The operation in Poland is run by Marcin Zak, who has worked in the Polish aviation industry for 11 years. Mr. Zak says, ""Euro Jet's goal is to represent the interest of the customer on the ground throughout Poland. We will coordinate every aspect of the mission. This includes being physically there for the passengers and crew, ensuring safety and security for both aircraft and passengers, and coordinating all payments with the airport service providers, caterers, transport companies and hotels."
The managing director of Euro Jet, Karol Bodnar states, ""It took a couple of years to finalize all service arrangements, train our ramp agents to meet the Euro Jet customer service quality standards and negotiate benefits for our clients who fly to Poland. Since last October we are up and running in Poland and fully capable of providing our usual top-level service which our clients are used to with Euro Jet."
The upcoming year will be an exciting time for Poland. From July 1st till the end of 2011 Poland will be the president of the European Union which will result in a tremendous number of meetings, festivals, and summits. Furthermore, in 2012 Poland and Ukraine will host the UEFA Champions League football matches which will see many charters, private aircrafts in this region.
Euro Jet's Ground Support network is currently covering 172 airports in 30 countries with safety trained, dedicated agents on the ramp. The company's mission statement is:
