Air Service Basel

Basel-Mulhouse Airport

Press Release

Issued by Air Service Basel.

April 5, 2011

Air Service Basel handles majority of business aviation traffic at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse during 2011 Basel World Watch and Jewellery Show

The Basel World Watch and Jewellery Show closed its gates on the 31st March 2011 after 8 highly successful days. The exhibitors were particularly satisfied, with over 100,000 visitors from more than 100 countries and outstanding sales.

Air Service Basel's FBO at the Euroairport Basel- Mulhouse was the company of choice for the majority of business jet operators, increasing the handling of visiting aircraft to more than double the number as compared to last year's event. Air Service Basel's ground personnel worked almost around the clock, to ensure smooth and safe operations at their facility.

Claudio Lasagni, Air Service Basel CEO, commented: "The team work and close co-operation between our staff, the airport personnel and all authorities was tremendous and greatly contributed to the success." Air Service Basel also highlights that they couldn't have achieved this without the outstanding support by their third party suppliers, who very much contributed in assisting with fuel supply, catering, transport and hotel accommodation.
