Jet Aviation to provide ground handling services to Belair

Jet Aviation recently announced that Belair has contracted the company to become their new handling agent at the Zurich International Airport effective November 1, 2007

Jet Aviation will provide the full scope of handling services to the carrier, including passenger check-in, gate services, baggage sorting, cabin cleaning and preparation as well as ramp and station control. "We are pleased to add Belair to our customer portfolio and we will do our utmost to exceed their expecations in operation and passenger services," says Urs Zorn, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Handling Ltd.

Belair is a Swiss carrier based in Zurich which operates over 2,400 flights annually with a fleet of three aircraft, including two Boeing 757-200 and one Boeing 767-300ER. The carrier serves various holiday destinations in the Mediterranean region, the Canary Islands, the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent and the Caribbean. In addition, Belair also provides scheduled services out of Zurich to European cities on behalf of Air Berlin which most recently acquired a 49% stake in the airline.
