Ocean Sky welcomes GainJet to London Luton Jet Centre

Leading private jet company Ocean Sky is celebrating the arrival of Greek regulated large private jet charter operator GainJet as a handling customer at the London Luton Airport Jet Centre.

The alliance between these two premium players in the private jet business was agreed following a successful series of meetings at the Middle East Business Aviation show in December last year. By placing the Global Express XRS at Ocean Sky's flagship facility at London Luton, GainJet has added UK-based operations to a fleet which is positioned throughout Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Stephen Grimes, chief executive of Ocean Sky, says: "GainJet is one of the most respected operators in our industry and deserves its reputation for setting an extremely high standard of professionalism and customer care. Being selected to care for GainJet's prestigious new operation is a ringing endorsement of our Jet Centre facilities at London Luton and ensures that the GainJet Global Express XRS is in the very best hands."

With a fleet ranging from the 78-seat Boeing 757 to the four-seat Embraer Phenom 100, GainJet has added the Global Express XRS to increase the operator's ultra long-range capacity. Expected to operate primarily between northern Europe and destinations in North and South America, GainJet's latest acquisition will benefit from Jet Centre's authorised Bombardier Service Facilities, certified to carry out routine line maintenance and warranty work on all Learjet, Challenger and Global models.

GainJet CEO Capt. James McBride adds: "London Luton itself is a favourable location for operating our latest ultra long-range services worldwide and Ocean Sky has an extremely strong reputation both within the industry and among our key clientele."
