Claudio Peer recently joined Jet Aviation as the senior director of sales for the company's aircraft management and flight support services in EMEA & Asia. As head of the aircraft management and flight support sales team, he brings considerable knowledge and experience to this new position and is responsible for growing Jet Aviation's aircraft management and charter fleets in the EMEA & Asia regions.
Peer is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and reports to Jürg Reuthinger, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation's aircraft management division for EMEA & Asia. He will work closely with the management team to expand the company's service portfolio to all customers and will educate aircraft owners and operators about the financial advantages of making their aircraft available for charter services under Jet Aviation's various aircraft operator certificates.
Peer began his aviation career in 1989 as an aircraft engineer with Swissair AG and served the company in various managerial positions before he became a consultant for air and ground transportation services. Since 1999 he has held senior positions within two business aviation companies and most recently served as chief operating officer for an aircraft charter and management company. Peer completed a four-year apprenticeship as an aircraft engineer and holds a private pilot license.
"The appointment of Claudio will help Jet Aviation drive aircraft management sales in the EMEA & Asia regions," says Jürg Reuthinger, "and it will also result in our customers experiencing enhanced service delivery, while charter clients benefit from an expanded charter fleet."
