Press Release
Issued by RUAG MRO.
March 3, 2011
High quality civil aircraft maintenance for business and executive jets is part of RUAG Aviation's core business. In efforts to constantly develop its service-portfolio, RUAG has broadened its approval for Honeywell engines at the Oberpfaffenhofen site. The engines for the Challenger 300 of the Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier have just been added to the range.
RUAG Aviation is now authorised by Honeywell Aerospace to carry out maintenance work, including guarantee work, on the Turbofan engines of the model series TFE731 and HTF7000 as well as on the auxiliary power units (APUs) of the GTCP36-100/150 series. RUAG also possesses the maintenance authorisations for engines of the manufacturers General Electric, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney and Williams, and can thus offer engine work for all aircraft in the portfolio.
Honeywell Aerospace is the world's leading supplier of systems components for aviation. RUAG Aviation has received the Line Service Centre Approval Application from Honeywell Aerospace GmbH in Raunheim (Germany), Honeywell's largest repair and maintenance centre outside the USA.
