First A318 arrives at Fokker Services' Completion Center

Stork subsidiary Fokker Services recently welcomed the arrival of the first Airbus A318. The aircraft was delivered 'green' from the Airbus factory in Hamburg for VIP cabin outfitting by Fokker Services at its Completion Center at Woensdrecht in the south of The Netherlands.

This A318 is destined for an undisclosed operator in the Middle East and will be completed with a very bespoke interior. The cabin completion will be ready mid 2008. The A318 is the shortest member of the Airbus A320 family.

This A318 completion follows the completion of an Airbus ACJ for the Austrian company Stumpf AG.

Fokker Services' completion center for VIP aircraft is an Airbus Approved Outfitter. Using its integrated design, manufacturing and support capabilities Fokker Services continues to support over 800 Fokker aircraft worldwide as well as numerous Bombardier Dash8, ATR-42 & 72 and various Airbus and Boeing aircraft with a wide range of support services from its main facilities in The Netherlands, Singapore and the US.
