Signature Flight Support Corporation announces today the opening of its Middle East sales office and the appointment of Karl Bowles as Sales Manager, Middle East. Karl joins Signature with 24 years of aviation experience. Most recently, Karl was the Director of Business Development, Middle East, for Jet Support Services, Inc. where he oversaw the sales and marketing of specialized airframe and power plant maintenance programs. Karl's prior experience includes 19 years in FBO and general aviation businesses where he started as an Operations Assistant and was promoted through the ranks to become Sales and Account Manager, Middle East and Africa.

Steve Gulvin, Regional Vice President Sales for Signature's EMEA region stated: "The Middle East is a significant market for Signature and with Karl's appointment and the new sales office, we have extended our ability to assist our clients in utilizing the Signature network wherever they fly. With many Middle Eastern customers travelling to and from Europe and the United States, Signature now has a dedicated local resource to assist these customers with all their flight support needs. We are happy to welcome Karl with his extensive aviation experience to the Signature family."

Signature's Middle East sales office is based in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is co-located with BBA Aviation plc's Engine Repair and Overhaul Middle East sales and service representatives. Karl will report to Steve Gulvin, Regional Vice President Sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
