2010 ends with large increase in deliveries at Raisbeck Engineering

Raisbeck Engineering ended the year with a record December, and 26% increase in its 4th quarter sales and deliveries. Total 2010 sales were above 2007, Raisbeck's 2nd best year in its history, with only 2008 being higher.

President Mike McConnell commented, "There's no doubt that the trend in upgrading existing airframes is being viewed by end-users as the most cost-effective way of increasing their airplanes' value while at the same time enjoying the greater performance and productivity these Raisbeck Performance Systems provide. We are already seeing this trend with backlog through the first part of 2011, and expect the upward trend to continue."

25 airplanes were equipped with Raisbeck Systems in December alone, 4 for the Hawker Beechcraft 350 production line and 21 in-service airplanes through Raisbeck's global network of Dealer/Installers. Totals for the year are 48 in-production 350s, and 217 in-service King Airs of all models. These numbers are expected to increase for 2011, in part because the Raisbeck Engineering Ram Air Recovery System is now standard on the new King Air 250, due out the beginning of Q2, and because of the measurable upswing in dealer activity in recent months. Raisbeck's Learjet Performance Systems have also shown increased activity.

One principal contribution to overall sales has been the acceptance by the ISR community of Raisbeck's Fully-Enclosed Main Landing Gears and Dual Aft Body Strakes on its fleets of King Air 350ER aircraft. Tobin Shackelford, Raisbeck's Special Missions Marketing Director, notes, "Our Gear Door System on the Project Liberty airplanes have increased their time-on-station by over half-an-hour. Other similar programs, such as the EMARSS and CBP King Airs have also chosen our systems. We expect to see a full range of King Air 90s, 200s, and 350s in these fields of operation turn to our Performance Systems as a very cost-effective way of increasing their overall mission performance and operational flexibility."

Raisbeck Engineering continues in the tradition of its founder in bringing innovative cutting edge technology to business and commercial aircraft of all types, all for the betterment of the end user.
